Pelvic floor therapy.

Pelvic floor therapy is a specialized form of physical therapy offered at Perilli Physical Therapy. When the muscles of the pelvic floor become weak or simply aren’t functioning properly, they can present challenging symptoms. Physical therapy can help!

What does pelvic floor therapy treat?

There are a variety of reasons that individuals might experience dysfunction in their pelvic floor muscles. We see a lot of postpartum patients for pelvic floor therapy, as pregnancy and childbirth can place a lot of strain on these muscles. Major pelvic surgeries like a hysterectomy and prostate surgery can have similar effects.

Note: Perilli Physical Therapy provides external pelvic floor therapy only.
